The function of GPS antenna is to convert the electromagnetic wave energy of satellite radio signals into current that electronic devices can absorb for application.The size and shape of the GPS antenna are crucial as these characteristics determine its ability to obtain GPS signals. Antennas can be designed with a single L1 frequency or compatible with both L1 and L2 frequency.Because of the fact that GPS signals are circularly polarized waves, the receiving antenna operates in a circularly polarized manner.
Installation and usage instructions for GPS antenna:
1.)When installing the GPS antenna, its signal receiving surface should be parallel to the ground to achieve the best receiving effect. At the same time, the installation angle should be adjusted appropriately considering the surrounding environment.
2.)When installing GPS antenna, it should be keep away from high-voltage lines, strong electric fields, magnetic fields, and other sources of interference.
3.)When laying cables, It should be keep away from high-voltage lines, power lines, telephone lines, etc.
4.)When the length of the cable is too long, do not coil it up. It should be straightened to avoid signal attenuation caused by electromagnetic fields.
5.)Cable laying should not be subjected to force compression.
6.)Do not plug or unplug the antenna connector with electricity to avoid circuit damage.
